Faster than a speeding bullet

Posted on December 11 2014

Want to know what it feels like to ski the Beaver Creek Birds of Prey World Cup Super G course on race day with bullet proof conditions.  Here's some epic footage of Gabi's son Sam, who was given the privilege of fore-running the race course minutes before the World Cup started in Beaver Creek last weekend. Sam was wearing the Go-Pro for Eurosport, which was streamed live to 100 million plus ski crazed fans from around the world. Sam is a ski racer on the Australian Alpine Ski Team. He was told to take it easy and under no circumstances take it to the limit.  It seems its ok for TV viewers to watch the World Cup guys crash but its definitely not a good look to crash if you are the fore-runner wearing the Go-Pro for Eurosport.  Sam is hoping to represent Australia on this same course at the World Championships next February and we wish our Aussie Team all the best.
