2015 World Alpine Ski Championships

Being the mother of a ski racer is definitely like riding an endless roller coaster…. for every high point there are just as any lows and many, many moments when you are holding your breath. However our experience at the World Alpine Championships was 2 weeks of HIGHlights. We met so many wonderful athletes from all around the globe and shared their triumphs and disappointments. We danced in the streets, skied with our Aussie and Kiwi Team parents, screamed our hearts out and loved every moment. Our kangaroo was a local celebrity. He made the front page of the Vail Daily, the Denver Post and we had phone calls from friends in St Moritz and Kitzbuhel who saw us on TV cheering on our Aussie Team. Thanks for the good times Vail and Beaver Creek, we will definitely be back!! xox
